Octave Touch/High Tension (7 pc. set)

Very pleased with this product. So far has worked out great for my 12 strings.I have a lot of money tied up in my guitars,so the less pressure I have to apply to the necks, the better I feel. These inserts solve that problem.I'm sure the rubber ones are good too,but haven't tried them yet.I decided to skip the rest and go for the best. Will be picking up a set of standard tension octave touch in the future.I also love the fact that you can buy inserts as singles too.Thank you Thalia Capos for another quality product. Thalia Capo for a 12-string

I am VERY pleased with my new Thalia capo with high tension rubber and silicone fret pads. The capo is of course easy to put on one-handed, but the beauty is that all 12 strings are certain to ring out correctly! Because I strum fairly hard on some songs, having the rubber or silicone option is great! And the beauty of the capo with my Taylor 12-string is outstanding.

Thank you Thalia!

Great 12-string capo

I was having trouble with my original Thalia capo on my Taylor 12-string — the pad material was too hard and didn’t fully fret the unwound strings paired with heavier wound strings. I looked on their site to see what I could do and found that they had a new pad they recommended for 12-string guitars, the Octave Touch High Tension kit. I ordered it, received it very quickly, and it’s perfect! Works great on my Taylor 562ce and I am sure would be useful for any 12-string. Thanks for a great product!

Its a beautiful thing!

Thalia Capos deliver with high quality materials and craftsmanship. I purchased mine to use with my new Guild 12 string. I purchased the 200 series high tension rubber pad kit (recommended for 12 string guitars) along with the new 200 series high tension silicone pad kit and have used both types. The pads are very durable and easy to change. My choice: Octave Touch Silicone. The softer silicone pad provides the perfect pressure for clear tones from all 12 strings. Goodbye annoying buzz. Hello clear ringing sound quality. Plus, it is jewelry for my guitar, giving it a higher end appearance. (At least I think so). I'll never look back. Great job Thalia.

Good but a few opportunities for OctaveTouch

I got the OctaveTouch sets for 2 Martin 12 strings I own. One is a Performing Artist series and the other is a Custom X series. In both cases the OctaveTouch seems to work pretty well. Intonation is maintained up and down the fretboard. There is a slight dampening of the octave strings that requires a little adjustment of the placement. Compared to other designs, the OctaveTouch is a marked improvement. In short, this is a step forward and well worth the investment.
