OUR STORY

One day in 2010 as 8-year old Thalia Bradley was playing guitar, she gazed up at the poster of Taylor Swift on her bedroom wall. Taylor was holding a beautifully inlaid Hawaiian Koa Taylor guitar. As she focused on Taylor's guitar, she had a big idea.

Thalia envisioned a new guitar capo (the device that clamps to the neck of a guitar to change its key) that was inlaid with hawaiian koa wood & abalone shell just like Taylor's guitar. That was the seed of an idea that would ultimately lead to the invention of the Thalia Capo and the company that now bears her name.

For Thalia's father Chris was an inventor and guitar player and he loved Thalia's idea, but he also thought the capo could be redesigned to make it much easier to use. They went to work and some 70 prototypes and four years later the father and daughter duo launched a kickstarter campaign for the Thalia Capo, which featured exotic wood and abalone shell inlays, just as Thalia had imagined.

Just like anything that Thalia sells, this case is great. I love the logo - classic Martin logo, and the wood is beautiful. I love putting my phone face down to show it off, and also to look at it myself.

I bought two truss rod covers and a koa Taylor phone case from Thalia. Everything is made with exceptional quality. The truss rod covers add the perfect amount of personality to my guitars (koa sea turtle for my koa wood Taylor T5 Custom and blue mother of pearl mermaid on my faded blue PRS SE Custom 24) and the phone case is incredibly stylish with the mother of pearl Taylor logo. Thalia's customer service is second to none - I originally ordered the wrong size TRC for my PRS and they immediately sent a replacement as soon as I notified them of my mistake. Everything is very much worth the price.
