About our Inked Pearl Series

For years, we have had customer requests to make our Celtic Knot Capo out of mother of pearl.

But this design idea was simply too time consuming and costly to inlay...  well, we have been experimenting with new methods to push the boundaries of what is possible and the result is our NEW Inked Pearl Series!

This new series is created by starting with a mother of pearl inlay, next we apply India Ink with a special UV embossing process to ink out the negative space, revealing a beautiful and intricate mother of pearl design.

The result is simply stunning!

I now have 4 or 5 Thalia capos. This Hawaiian Koa Celtic Knot capo is just another beauty added to the collection. I recently bought a Taylor CE724 Hawaiian Koa. I had a custom strap made to match the Koa and thought it would not be complete without a Thalia Koa capo. Was Thalia reading my mind? Shortly after I bought the Taylor, Thalia sent out an add advertising the Hawaiian Koa Celti Knot capo. Of course I had to complete my ensemble with the Koa capo. I love it and it works like a champ on the Taylor. Thank you for your attention to detail and producing these awesome capos

Tie-Dye Capo

I had already purchased one of your custom capos for a present to celebrate my friend's birthday. He has enjoyed it immensely. He has several guitars with different fretboard radius' and the ease of switching the fretpads is so convenient. The firm fit of your capos produces a clear authentic tone on all his instruments. He loves it!
But my friend is also a Tie-Dye enthusiast! So when you offered the Tie-Dye Capo I knew it would be the perfect guitar accessory to add to his gig bag..
Thank you for making a beautiful quality product.

Groovy capo

Abalone Capo w/custom truss rod cover

I have purchased 4 capos from Thalia with the most recent being the Abalone. It is the most popular for good reason - it’s gorgeous!! You can see mine pictured with the abalone/pearl truss rod cover I designed and Thalia made it happen! I am a big fan of their products. Simply put, they work superbly and they are flat out beautiful!

Another beautiful and awesome capo

I look forward to receiving emails which are promoting new capo designs from Thalia, as gives me the opportunity to add another one to my collection!
This extraordinary Lucky Dragon capo was no exception, as usual immaculately presented in its box and beautifully finished a real pleasure to put on my guitar neck and start playing. The gauge indicator was just right for my Martin and the capo sits perfectly on the neck, I can almost feel the guitar begging me to play it!
Only one problem now I’m looking at which capo design I can justify purchasing next.
Cracking capo, quality product, great service, well done Thalia.

Fretboard Radius Guide By Guitar Make & Model

To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer.  If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here

Please Note:  12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance.  Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo.  Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
