If you want to mix patriotism & music, these limited edition guitar picks are for you. Includes 6, 12, 18, 50 or 100 2.0 American Flag picks in a collectible aluminum tin with a Santos Rosewood inlay.
You can order our pick tins in either 0.9mm or 1.4mm thicknesses. Our 1.4mm would be similar to a Fender Thick, but with a much warmer tone. We recommend the 1.4mm thickness as they are the most durable. We only suggest the 0.9mm if you have previously tried and love our 0.9mm picks. Our 0.9mm pick have flex and and amazing tone, but they do wear down somewhat quickly so we suggest you try these first before ordering.
Thalia Exotic Wood Picks are crafted by slicing micro-thin layers of exotic wood and then bonding them back together with the woodgrain in a crosshatch pattern. The result is a very thin, flexible and durable wood pick with a warm tone that sounds better with each use. We offer multiple shapes and thicknesses.
Check out the overview video below for more details:
Our picks are made in the USA of 100% Santos Rosewood. Our 1.4mm picks are made with 3 layers of exotic wood.
Our picks are made of 100% wood so they will wear down with use. They will not last as long as a plastic pick, but we think that you will love their tone. The 0.9mm picks are best for acoustic players or players with a lighter playing style. If you are a hard strummer then these picks are not for you; instead we recommend the 1.4mm
Our 1.4mm picks will develop a beveled edge as you play with them and adapt to your picking style. These picks are made of three layers of wood and are far more durable. As a result, they really don't have any flex.
"The wood style is becoming one of my favorites to get a really acoustic sound from my Taylor Mini." - Alberto P.
"I'm very impressed with the feel, tone, and the durability of them..." - Bruce E.
"Nice feel, good articulation, just right." - Randall R.
I’m really digging these pics. There is a definite bigger more rounder sound than typical pics. It’s actually made me listen more intently to what I’m playing and the minute nuances. Highly recommended
I am the bass player in our band and never use pics, but I was intrigued by the description and the warm tones they could create. So......... I purchased two sampler tins for our two guitar players as Christmas gifts and they absolutely loved them. The exotic woods certainly do create a different sound. Both of them said they would be ordering more in the future.
When I purchased a beautiful Thalia Red Angel Wing Capo, a Purpleheart wood pick was included in the package. I didn't think I'd like using a wooden pick, but was blown away at how bright my Gretsch Jumbo Rancher sounded using that pick! I immediately ordered a tin of six Rosewood picks from Thalia: three were .9mm (thin) and three were 1.4mm (medium). As the Purpleheart was a very hard wood, I opted for the 'softer' Rosewood after reading the comparison of hardness on the Thalia site. I found my favorite is the thinner .9mm Rosewood and have not been able to return to my old nylon (Sharkfin) or standard Delrin picks. Using standard picks the strings do not sound as bright and they don't sustain and 'ring' as when I'm using using the Thalia Rosewood picks !! I am extremely happy with these picks (and all Thalia products) and will be ordering more picks soon! You've got a customer for life ! ( I haven't even mentioned the beautiful guitar strap and the magnesium slide that matches the Red Angel wing capo ! )

I purchased the Exotic Wood Pick Tin 2.0 and the Santos Rosewood Capo - Black Chrome. The feeling with the wood pick is different: it feels like you are one with the guitar. I will definitely buy more from Thalia. The capo is the most beautiful out there and works very well. I strongly recommend it. Thank you for making such amazing products!

I have purchased both the 1.4mm and the 0.9mm in that order. Recording in a home built studio, the first thing I noticed was what I didn’t hear. No string click! Since my history was with thin plastic picks, I purchased the 0.9mm! No difference in string click but the feel was more what I was used to. The design etchings on the picks are more than just beautiful for me. The relief on the pick creates a holding for my thumb that helped keep the pick from turning in the middle of a song. Having neuropathy in my hands, this is truly important for me. Great job Thalia! I will never pick with plastic again!
