If you're anything like me, you have more guitar picks hanging around all over your main playing areas, but you're still missing something. When I started playing, I didn't think picks made much difference, but as I played more, I found they did. First, I started going up in thickness and was happy. Then Dunlop came out with the Ultex and I was even more pleased. Not only did it have the high frequency response of the celluloids I had, but it added the low frequencies too. Then I asked Thalia to send me some of the Taylor Thermex Ultra picks and I finally found it--even better lows and a nicer, warmer tone with all the highs of the other picks. At last, I found a pick that I love. It almost reminds me of the rosewood guitars I love to play. You should give these picks a try. You can change the way your guitars sound at a very, very cheap expense.
