"I can take the capo off and on, move it up and down the neck, and never adjust the tuning. Art that works. Nice!" - Rob M.
"I have a lot of capos and Thalia’s are simply the best." - MAEllis
We have a variety of exotic wood and shell capos perfect or any and every guitar.
Very beautiful capo. I put a layer of white glue to protect the pattern. It's wonderful.
I originally bought the Celtic Knot for myself, another for my son, and now this one for my Grand daughter. All players. Both my son and I appreciate this as the best capo we have owned. Now passing it on a generation.
I have been waiting for a Nyberg bouzouki and will certainly be buying one dedicated to it as well.
In my search for a truss rod cover for my son's Taylor GS Mini, I came across your web site. All I can say is I'm glad I found you. I got him the truss rod cover and a really great Crown of Thorns capo. Your design is very unique and he loved both items. Your capos are very easy to put on and the extra pads really made a difference for his setup. I'll be back in the future to get myself a capo... and truss rod cover, and strap... maybe some picks... Thank you Thalia!
I bought this capo because it looked beautiful and the reviews were really good.
It's certainly beautiful, really, REALLY lovely!
And extremely well made .
There's only one downside (for me) which is that it can't be used the way it's intended by someone with small, weak hands like me :).
It's supposed to be moved with the same action one uses when barring but it requires more strength than one uses when barring and I'm just not that strong. So it's a fiddle to re-position it.
Despite that one niggle I would never swap it for a different one because overall it's brilliant :).
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
