even the B-stocks are great

This was the fourth capo I’ve bought here: one for myself and two as gifts for friends. One thing I love are the removable fretpads designed to match the different fretboard radiuses as I switched guitars. Even so, it’s more convenient to own more than one capo, so as not to have to switch out fretpads each time I pick up a different axe.

But buying one premium capo is hard enough; justifying buying myself a second was harder. But then Thalia announced a sale, and I realized I could pick up an already reduced B-stock at an even lower price. At that price I didn’t much care which style I got, as long as it was different enough that I wouldn’t confuse it with my first one. When the new capo arrived, I immediately looked for the blemish that caused it to be marked down, but guess what: nobody would ever pick up this capo and guess that it was a “second.” Your mileage may vary, of course, but this company has high standards.

The biggest surprise, though, was how closely the mother-of-pearl model I had chosen turned out to match my Dean resonator. Heck, you’d think it came as an original accessory to the guitar itself. And that was a total coincidence; I hadn’t even considered what they would look like together!

The Best you can get....

Lives up to all it's claims. Hyper functional and beautiful. A piece of great engineering and a genuine work of real musical equipment. If you need a good capo,
one that holds intonation as you move around the fret board, and offers pad choices as no other capo does, with customer service that matches the beauty of the
workmanship...then actually...there is no other choice. One moves from barely adequate items we all took for granted to something that truly IMPROVES one's sound
and technique totally unexpectedly. If you are in any way serious about your sound this capo is not something to vaguely is a must-have in your
case. It is a necessity for a player.....If you're good you'll get better...If you're starting it'll inspire you. On the guitar pictured...a great sounding 63 J50 I keep in great condition...this was the last thing needed....I guess you could say I like it.......a lot!

3rd ONE FOR ME!!!

I bought a B stock for my 3rd Thalia Capo, and I searched it up and down for any imperfection that might make it B stock... Nothing! Love, love, love these capos... If you haven't bought one yet, do yourself a favor and but one now! You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely Amazing

This capo is going to be the first of many. This capo is both beautiful, and functional. The assortment of interchangeable fret pads are an amazing addition to the capo, it allows me to switch between my guitars quickly and easily. Instead of having to re-tune my guitar, all I need to do is change the fret pad, and off I go. I absolutely love this capo, it is well worth every cent. Whenever I played with a friend they would admire my capo. So I let my friend use it, and he fell in love with it too. This capo is a beaut and is sure to be one of many in my growing collection.

The perfect solution

For years, every time I moved my capo I had to retune. I saw that when using a Thalia capo that I wouldn’t have to. I thought it to good to be true but thought it was worth a try, and am I ever glad I did!!! Now retuning is never necessary when I move my Thalia capo. Awesome addition. Everyone should have one.

Fretboard Radius Guide By Guitar Make & Model

To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer.  If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here

Please Note:  12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance.  Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo.  Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
