Standard Sized Slides Ship on January 26th.
Thalia Magnesium Slides are made via a collaboration with MagSlide, makers of fine magnesium slides. We were planning to design our own slide from scratch when we came across the father & son team at MagSlide. We loved their design and story so much that we decided to partner with them to create a new Thalia version which includes an exotic wood & shell inlay. We think you will love these slides as much as we do!

The Whiskey Wing & AAA Curly Hawaian Koa Magnesium Slide is a beautiful piece of craft wich perfectly suits the Thalia family of other guitar asseccories. As you can see on my guitar I am very fond of the nice Thalia products. Best regards Per, Denmark
Well, I never thought I'd be writing a product review for a guitar slide but here we are, lol. Some very real thought went into this and it shows. First, it's beautiful. I bought the teal angel wing one to match my capo and it does so perfectly. Second, it's lighter than all my other slides. It sounds as full as my brass and chrome slides but it's like half the weight. Third, the tapered sides where it meets the webbing of your fingers is a nice touch, and there are grooves that run the long way down the inside of the slide which grab your finger and make it easy to hold (and they also allow for air flow). Yes they are pricey compared to basic run-of-the-mill slides. But in this case you get what you pay for. I have smaller hands so I ordered the small size and it fits my ring finger perfectly.
Incredibly light in weight and comfort and it's a great looking guitar accessory. Oh, and it sounds great.
I’m fairly new to slide guitar but with that in mind I have tried glass, ceramic, brass, copper, all of them. I first thought I preferred glass, then I bought a nice ceramic it was the bomb, that’s until the Thalia custom Magnesium slide came in. This slide is smooth, light, easily handled, but most of all generates the best sound that I can get from my guitar. They might cost a little more but believe me they are more than worth it if you like making music!!!!
I bought the teal angel wing/ Hawaiian koa slide. I got the “pinky” sized. First, I was really impressed with how beautiful it is and how good the quality is. Second, I have narrow fingers and have never found a slide that is this comfortable on my pinky finger. It’s snug. The design, with the circular cut on the bottom is unique and makes for a very comfortable fit.
The sound is mellower than a run of the mill chrome slide.
It was pricey, but I think worth the price.
