BRUSHED BLACK CHROME
MIRROR BLACK CHROME
Our capos may be applied from either the top (bass side) or bottom (treble side) of the neck. The orientation that you prefer is really a personal preference as it does not affect the tonal performance of the capo. However, we believe that the most intuitive and comfortable application is from the bottom or treble side. So we RECOMMEND treble orientation if you are uncertain. It is important that you know which orientation you prefer when you place your order; because the letters will be upside down if you select the wrong orientation.
Chai, which means "Life" in Hebrew, is one of the most recognizable symbols of the Jewish faith. Comprised of the letters Chet and Yud, together they form the word "Chai" - a word that reflects the importance of life in Judaism. According to the Gematria, a Jewish mystical tradition that assigns a numerological value to Hebrew letters, the Chet has a value of 8 and the Yud has a value of 10, adding up to the number 18. Because of this, the number 18 represents good luck and gifts are often given in multiples of Chai, or 18. It symbolizes giving the recipient the gift of "life" or luck.
The Thalia Capo's unique, patented design means that you can squeeze the capo with your fretting hand in its natural position on the neck. We have also gone to great lengths to design a capo that will not take your guitar out of tune: this is done by offering interchangeable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your instrument. Check out the :30 overview video below for more details.
Every capo comes with a microfiber cleaning/gig pouch along with our Standard Tension & our High Tension (formally XL) Rubber Fretpad Tuning kits, which each include 7 different fretpads designed to fit a range of instruments with the following radii: 0" for Classical, 7.25". 9.5", 10", 12", 15" & 16". (14 FRETPADS IN TOTAL) The High Tension Fretpads are 2mm taller than our standard tension fretpads, so these are needed for 12-string guitars, Ukuleles, Banjos and certain guitars with low profile necks.

This warranty is only available to the original purchaser through ThaliaCapos.com or our company stores on other e-commerce sites and is not transferable. You can use a Thalia Capo on a 12-String, 8-String, Ukulele, Banjo or Mandolin, but you will most likely need our High Tension Rubber Fretpads (formally XL) which are 2mm taller than our standard 6-string guitar fretpads. THESE FRETPADS ARE NOW INCLUDED with every capo so you don't need anything else!
All of our capos come packaged in our retail packaging, which includes a polycarbonate jewel case, quick-start guide, microfiber gig bag, santos rosewood pick and a Thalia sticker.
For an even better gifting experience, considering upgrading to our Celebrity Gift Box which includes 2-pull out drawers with a slot for each of the 14 fretpads included with every capo (also includes other items included with standard packaging); you can find our Celebrity Gift Box here
