Thickness Specs

You can order our pick tins in 0.9mm or 1.4mm thicknesses.

Our 0.9mm has a playability that is similar to a Fender Medium, while our 1.4mm would be similar to a Fender Thick, but with a much warmer tone.

Our Pick Technology

Thalia Exotic Wood Picks are crafted by slicing micro-thin layers of exotic wood and then bonding them back together with the woodgrain in a crosshatch pattern. The result is a very thin, flexible and durable wood pick with a warm tone that sounds better with each use. We offer multiple shapes and thicknesses.

Check out the overview video below for more details:

Our picks are made in the USA of 100% Santos Rosewood. Our 0.9mm picks are made with 2 layers of exotic wood and 1.4mm picks are made with 3 layers of exotic wood.

Durability & Playability

Our picks are made of 100% wood so they will wear down with use. They will not last as long as a plastic pick, but we think that you will love their tone and thinness.

Our thinnest pick, the 0.9mm is flexible and functionally similar to a Fender Medium. As a result these picks will wear out much faster than our thicker 1.4mm picks. These picks are made of two layers of wood that are crosshatched for strength. They are the most fragile of all of our picks. These picks are really made for users who desire flex in their wood pick.  If you are a hard strummer the 0.9mm picks are probably not for you.

Our thicker 1.4mm picks will develop a beveled edge as you play with them and adapt to your picking style. These picks are made of three layers of wood and are far more durable. As a result, they really don't have any flex.

Wales rosewood 2.0 pick Tin

I love my new Welsh flag .09mm picks, not only is the Welsh flag authentic and colorful, but I think the addition of it makes the pick more durable and stronger at the center. If you like the standard rosewood .09mm, you'll love this version.
Great job guys !

Love the tone but not for heavy strumming

I live in Texas so I just had to have these picks! They're great for flat picking but not so good for strumming hard (see the picture). The tone that you get from them is unlike any other pick. I use Herco flex 75 and they have a plastic sound to them but they hold up to my style of play. When I want to mellow my strum and picking, I grab this wood pick every time.

Amazing Quality

I have purchased 3 different products, Rosewood Guitar Picks and Copa for a friend, and a Ring for Myself.
My Friend said the Rosewood Picks gave his Guitar an amazing sound, the Copa is still on its way and I absolutely love the ring.
The Order Process and presentation of the Product was very nice and the Quality and Workmanship is Amazing.
Will definitely recommend and Order other Products!!

Love these picks!

We started a weekly guitar jam (covid spaced, of course) in our driveway. The gang loved these!

Love the picks. The tin is lovely but unnecessary.

I came across these picks back in November, in my Instagram feed. I ordered two of the mixed sets, containing three each of the .9 mm and 1.4 mm thicknesses. The picks arrived a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a lot of time to spend with them yet, but from the time I have used them I'm very pleased. The thinner pick especially is amazing. I can't believe it has that much flex to it. Also, after a fairly short amount of play, that pick is already showing slight wear marks. Not in a bad way, but rather looking like its already conforming to my play style. I think these picks are great and will highly recommend them to friends. In fact, the second tin I ordered is a gift for a friend.

My only constructive criticism is related to the tins. They're beautiful, truly, but unnecessary. I opened the tin, took out the picks, and now the tin sits around doing nothing but collecting dust. It would be superb if you were to offer reduced/limited packaging for bulk orders of picks. I would order many more but only if there were available without tins. It *might* even lower your shipping costs?

Keep up the great work! Hope all of your team is staying safe and healthy during these very stressful times.
