Symbology & Meaning

The Cross is one of the earliest and most widely used Christian symbols. In the most broad sense it symbolizes the religion of Christianity. More specifically, it represents and memorializes Christ's death. There are a variety of crosses, some with specific symbolic meaning and others that have simply become culturally associated with certain groups.

Crosses symbolize spirituality and healing. The four points of a cross represent self, nature, wisdom, and higher power or being. Crosses suggest transition, balance, faith, unity, temperance, hope, and life.

Cross Capo

We also make several Cross Capos, phone cases and other products as part of our worship series that goes along with this pick tin set. You can find those here

Thickness Specs

You can order our pick tins in 0.9mm or 1.4mm thicknesses.

Our 0.9mm has a playability that is similar to a Fender Medium, while our 1.4mm would be similar to a Fender Thick, but with a much warmer tone.

Our Pick Technology

Thalia Exotic Wood Picks are crafted by slicing micro-thin layers of exotic wood and then bonding them back together with the woodgrain in a crosshatch pattern. The result is a very thin, flexible and durable wood pick with a warm tone that sounds better with each use. We offer multiple shapes and thicknesses.

Check out the overview video below for more details:

Our 2.0 picks are made in the USA in our California Studio of 100% Santos Rosewood. Our 0.9mm picks are made with 2 layers of exotic wood and 1.4mm picks are made with 3 layers of exotic wood.

Durability & Playability

Our picks are made of 100% wood so they will wear down with use. They will not last as long as a plastic pick, but we think that you will love their tone and thinness.

Our thinnest pick, the 0.9mm is flexible and functionally similar to a Fender Medium. As a result these picks will wear out much faster than our thicker 1.4mm picks. These picks are made of two layers of wood that are crosshatched for strength. They are the most fragile of all of our picks. These picks are really made for users who desire flex in their wood pick.  If you are a hard strummer the 0.9mm picks are probably not for you.

Our thicker 1.4mm picks will develop a beveled edge as you play with them and adapt to your picking style. These picks are made of three layers of wood and are far more durable. As a result, they really don't have any flex.

The Tri-Pick is awesome!

I have enjoyed playing my guitar with the Tri-Pick for several weeks and I have to write that they are the best of the picks that I have used from Thalia. I wear them out, sand the edges, and use them up. Additionally, just move to another corner of the pick and keep playing if one corner wears down. It's like three picks in one. They have great crisp tone on the new edges and when the edge tapers, the tone gets warmer. These picks are the only ones that I know of that are this versatile. Thanks Thalia!!

Celtic Koa

The Celtic-knot engraved koa pick tin is beautiful. And the emerald green abalone shell shamrock ☘️ inlay is just perfect on it. I liked it so much I had to get the matching pick puck. It not only looks great on my Taylor 324ce Koa, it’s also quite functional. Very pleased with both.

My Final pick

These picks are my tone secret. A noticeable difference in attack, bite and fullness of tone. No BS worth the money fat picks. I look forward to having enough paying gigs after COVID to massage my ego with some custom printed 1.4mm picks. Thanks Thalia!
