Our new super curly koa is a master grade Hawaiian Koa that was salvaged from the slopes of Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. Amazing flames and figuring! Just wow is all we can say!
All Hawaiian Koa products made by Thalia come with our Hawaiian Koa Reforestation Commitment. $5 from the sale of each Capo or Phone Case goes directly towards planting and maintaining new Koa trees in Hawaii.
We offer this koa in two different stained colors: Vintage Blonde & Kentucky Bourbon
By staining this amazing curly koa, we are creating close matches to other woods found in fine guitars. We hope you choose our curly koa and help us in our sustainability mission.

Sometimes video is the only way to see the true magic of this wood. Here it is in all of its glory.
Not only does a Thalia capo look good it works amazingly well with a one handed action, making your guitar sound at its best even with a capo on. The sound is clear and crisp. The strings do NOT buzz or sound dull like other capos I’ve used. If you’ve spent a lot of money on a guitar, you want the best out of it so use the best capo and like many of us, that Is Thalia for looks and functionality. I was worried about the cost so bought one in the sale. I was also concerned buying from another country but arrived really quick, before COVID. Since trying my first bargain Thalia. I’ve ordered another to match the wood of my favourite Taylor guitar. I plan to treat all my guitars to a matching wood fashion statement with the added bonus it actually works every time. You can see and feel the quality in your hand. Nice touch that it has the rubber strip especially for your particular guitar neck that fits in a click in manor. I also love the choice. Do I like Thalia capos No I LOVE THEM.
I honestly love these capos: the look incredible ( take the time to pick the right ones), they are easy to put on and move, and they squeeze the right amount. By the way, I am surprised how much I like the wood picks - comes with a free one to get us hooked. I doubt that my pics can capture how special these are and I don’t see where to upload pics. The black/gold split diamond looks like it was made for my black with gold hardware Les Paul. The chrome/wood with white stripe (don’t know the name) looks perfect on my bluish Strat. And the aqua abalone/chrome is great on my steel string that also has abalone inlay. Pictures would be nice, but don’t see where to upload. Anyway, well worth it to my mind and it seems like a very cool company/family. Do it. You’ll be thrilled
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
