Our new super curly koa is a master grade Hawaiian Koa that was salvaged from the slopes of Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. Amazing flames and figuring! Just wow is all we can say!
All Hawaiian Koa products made by Thalia come with our Hawaiian Koa Reforestation Commitment. $5 from the sale of each Capo or Phone Case goes directly towards planting and maintaining new Koa trees in Hawaii.

All the reviews are 100% accurate regarding the guitar staying in tune with the capo all the positions up the neck with correct capo pad inserted.
Quality everything! Great addition to provide Thicker pads for different neck shapes/thicknesses, I needed one on an old D-18 to prevent string buzzing.
See pics in regards to wood grain matching, picture says it all!
Really enjoying our capos. They are very well made and sturdy. There are a little tricky to put on at first, but once you get use to it it’s pretty slick. We’ve used them everyday at gigs since we received them.
The only downfall was it took a month to get here to Canada and was charged duty when they were delivered. Upside is that the company reimbursed me the duty. Great customer service. Thank you and hope to order again.
Easy to use, and no retuning required, no matter what fret you put it on.
My only regret regarding the Koa, I should have chosen the darker of the three color options. If you have a mahogany or dark wood guitar, pick the darkest shade. (Not that I'm complaining - it looks great, and so far everyone who's seen it is jealous.)
This capo is easily the prettiest capo I've ever used. The black ripple abalone is absolutely gorgeous and dances as you move it around in the light. It also compliments the abalone that's on my guitar. That being said, this is also the best capo in terms of function that I've ever owned. With past capos, sometimes they would allow strings to buzz and I would have to readjust them. I've yet to have that problem with this one. Just set it and play. The ability to change out the pad for the various neck radii is a great feature. Seriously, these are worth every penny.
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
