The Gibson Hummingbird is laser engraved and inked on the nose of this Gibson by Thalia capo.
Easy to use, and no retuning required, no matter what fret you put it on.
My only regret regarding the Koa, I should have chosen the darker of the three color options. If you have a mahogany or dark wood guitar, pick the darkest shade. (Not that I'm complaining - it looks great, and so far everyone who's seen it is jealous.)
This capo is easily the prettiest capo I've ever used. The black ripple abalone is absolutely gorgeous and dances as you move it around in the light. It also compliments the abalone that's on my guitar. That being said, this is also the best capo in terms of function that I've ever owned. With past capos, sometimes they would allow strings to buzz and I would have to readjust them. I've yet to have that problem with this one. Just set it and play. The ability to change out the pad for the various neck radii is a great feature. Seriously, these are worth every penny.
I still marvel at the genius behind the design of Thalia capos. To be able to switch out the insert to best fit a particular guitar is brilliant. And that function is matched by esthetics. The capos are truly a work of art demonstrating what craftsmanship and taking pride in one’s work is all about. As a native born Texan I cannot imagine a more beautiful accessory for my guitars than the Lone Star capo. Absolutely gorgeous. And again the workmanship is evident and I know I will get many years of use and enjoyment from this remarkable capo. Thank you Chris, Thalia and the entire team.
This is the second capo I’ve bought from Thalia and it’s my favorite.
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
