It is beautiful! It feels good in my hands. The capo moves very easily for me, when placing it on from the top and moving it from the bottom. I am over the moon about how well the guitar stays in tune as I move the capo. I just keep testing it to see if it won’t be in tune. But the capo always wins! Something I had not expected is the difference in my guitar’s tone quality with this capo on versus other capos. It’s so much clearer and resonates better...ringing for longer. And it responds so well to guitar pick strumming and finger picking. I am just so pleased. I have been a performer for 30 years and I am sorry I didn’t buy this sooner. Thank you for creating this beautiful hard working capo. I cannot imagine using anything else again.
Was pretty excite to get the capo. Receive the mother of gold capo today. The pearl marble came cracked. Not the quality that should come from a 100 dollar capo. Customer service don’t answer
Capo by Thalia, Guitar by Kinscherff (Austin Tx), Armadillo inlay by the great Larry Robinson. The capo works great and is the perfect compliment to the guitar. THANKS!!!
This is the best capo I’ve ever used. Holds a tuning beautifully, easily adjustable and looks great.
A gift from a friend, and what a gift it was! Equally gorgeous and incredibly functional, this work of art is truly a treasure in the hand. Everything about it sings quality: the feel of it, the materials used, the meticulous craftsmanship, the mechanics of the moveable parts, the versatility of the changeable pads. Far superior to other capos I have used, and wide enough to effectively fit across the neck of my nylon string classical acoustic guitar, it is a fabulous capo that will no doubt bring joy for many years to come!
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
