Thickness Specs

You can order our pick tins in either 0.9mm or 1.4mm thicknesses.  Our 1.4mm would be similar to a Fender Thick, but with a much warmer tone. We recommend the 1.4mm thickness as they are the most durable.  We only suggest the 0.9mm if you have previously tried and love our 0.9mm picks.  Our 0.9mm pick have flex and and amazing tone, but they do wear down somewhat quickly so we suggest you try these first before ordering.

Our Pick Technology

Thalia Exotic Wood Picks are crafted by slicing micro-thin layers of exotic wood and then bonding them back together with the woodgrain in a crosshatch pattern. The result is a very thin, flexible and durable wood pick with a warm tone that sounds better with each use. We offer multiple shapes and thicknesses.

Check out the overview video below for more details:

Our picks are made in the USA of 100% Santos Rosewood. Our 1.4mm picks are made with 3 layers of exotic wood.

Durability & Playability

Our picks are made of 100% wood so they will wear down with use. They will not last as long as a plastic pick, but we think that you will love their tone.  The 0.9mm picks are best for acoustic players or players with a lighter playing style.  If you are a hard strummer then these picks are not for you; instead we recommend the 1.4mm

Our 1.4mm picks will develop a beveled edge as you play with them and adapt to your picking style. These picks are made of three layers of wood and are far more durable. As a result, they really don't have any flex.

Great tone, but...

After a friend let me try one of these rosewood picks, I fell in love with the tone it got out of my guitar. The sound was clear, woody, and not harsh at all - just what I like.
Unfortunately, it seems I am too aggressive in my picking style, and tore up the tip of the first one in less than 1 hour of playing.
It's a wonderful item that didn't work for me personally.

Thanks Thalia

I ordered a pick puck and they offered me a pack of picks for a discount. Got them for my brother’s birthday present. He is a very talented and experienced musician and he will definitely be impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. I’ve also ordered a flask and a grinder and both are excellent. I’m just waiting on more magnesium slides to be made and that will be my next purchase.

Tri-Star Pick Tin

The quality is perfect as usual with everything from Thalia Capos! I have a couple of the tins and have given them away as gifts too. The Tri-Star tin is easy to open and (side note) perfectly matches my Tri-Star Pick Puck. Love them both and encourage everyone to get the set that matches your personality, definitely worth it...

Great product range!!

Great tones, on acoustic it’s mellow & deep, on electric I can squeeze out pinched harmonics too.
Great service, love this company, have a range of things now, capo, amazing, pick tins & picks too.
Sometimes an original innovative product comes along that is a nice reward.

Thalia phone cases are awesome!

This is my second Thalia phone case and I have loved them both. Previously I had the Taylor logo design and now the pick pile design. Both were beautifully engraved and inlays were nicely done. The Taylor case lasted a couple years and was still going strong, but I upgraded my phone and it no longer fit. I knew I wanted another Thalia case for my new phone. They look great and do an excellent job protecting your phone!
