Over my 30 years of playing the guitar, I have used all of the well-known capos. The Thalia capo is by far the best. The quality of construction coupled with the beautiful range of inlay options make this capo stand out from the competition. The amount of clamping force is just right - not making your guitar “sharp” due to excessive force like many other brands. I own two!
This capo performs amazingly well. Using the guide, I was able to pick the right fret pads for my Taylor guitars and install it in seconds. No matter where I put it on the fretboard the notes ring clear, and it is incredibly easy to slide to different positions once in place. And on top of that, it is visually stunning. Such a beautiful piece I’m proud to display on my guitar.
I wanted a capo that would match the truss rod cover that I ordered and it looked beautiful but I worried about it being too white. When it arrived, I was delighted; it is opalescent and carries so much color! And of course, it terrifically functional as a great capo!
I’ve been playing music professionally for over 20 years and have always wanted a capo that actually worked . Thalia is a well crafted , beautiful and actually stays in tune when placed on the guitar. The extra pads are great for my different guitars as well. Thanks Thalia and Chris! I’ll be back for more and actually bought stock in your company too!
I am a relatively new member to the Thalia Capo fan club and have used quite a few different capos on the market. Have to say the artistry and quality of build are second to none. These are gorgeous. Doesn't mean a thing however unless they do what they are supposed to do. And that they do. Easy to apply and move quickly with no feet buzz and no affect on tuning. And my wife finds them pretty. Green light right there to buy more. Well done Thalia.
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
