GuitarSafe™ Micro-Suction Technology

Our proprietary GuitarSafe™ Micro-Suction Pads are modeled after a Gecko's foot, using suction instead of adhesive to adhere to your guitar.

We tested multiple formulations of micro-suction material before finalizing the formula for our GuitarSafe™ Micro-Suction Pads.  Some formulations were far too aggressive and others not quite aggressive enough.  Instead, we wanted it to adhere safely to the guitar's finish but not so aggressively that it could cause damage to delicate finishes. The pad's surface contains thousands of microscopic air pockets that create partial vacuums between the puck and the target surface. It isn’t pressure sensitive and won't leave any residue behind. It can also be used repeatedly without losing its gripping power.

Love the pickguard!

I'd been wanting to add a pickguard to my gs mini for a while, but a fear of commitment, plus playing occasional historic gigs where the look wouldn't be appropriate has always held me back. This is the perfect compromise, and it looks great too! Has held up much better than the pick-scratched side of my guitar. Taking it off is not as easy as they make it sound, but that's probably for the best, at least I'm not afraid of it flying off during a gig, and it does seem to get easier with a little practice. I love the idea that I can get more and change up the look whenever I want!

very unique look

That was my second wooden pickguard from Thalia for my Taylor guitars, because I don't like plastic. It's not cheap, but looks very unique and expansive in my opinion and in German stores are such pickguard not available.

Absolutely Beautiful

The Blue Abalone pickguard completes the set and looks stunning on my Taylor 324ce.

Beautiful Pick Guard

I originally bought a truss rod cover and now the matching pick guard really makes my Taylor pop. Installation was easier than I originally thought it was going to be.

Also, I ordered the incorrect pick guard and Thalia made it slick to swap it out for the correct one.

Thank you.

Another Awesome Abalone piece

Tops off my 610 transformation. Love that the pickguard is easily removed, although I don't know why I would.
