Includes (6) Flag of Wales 2.0 Picks in a collectible aluminum tin with a Santos Rosewood inlay with a white mother of pearl pick inlay.  Each pick and the pearl pick inlay are UV printed with the Flag of Wales. Picks come in both 1.4mm and 0.9mm thicknesses.  We recommend the 1.4mm thickness as they are the most durable.  We only suggest the 0.9mm if you have previously tried and love our 0.9mm picks.

The Flag of Wales (Welsh: Baner Cymru or Y Ddraig Goch, meaning 'the red dragon') consists of a red dragon passant on a green and white field.

Thickness Specs

You can order our pick tins in 0.9mm or 1.4mm thicknesses.

Our 0.9mm has a playability that is similar to a Fender Medium, while our 1.4mm would be similar to a Fender Thick, but with a much warmer tone.

Our Pick Technology

Thalia Exotic Wood Picks are crafted by slicing micro-thin layers of exotic wood and then bonding them back together with the woodgrain in a crosshatch pattern. The result is a very thin, flexible and durable wood pick with a warm tone that sounds better with each use. We offer multiple shapes and thicknesses.

Check out the overview video below for more details:

Our 2.0 picks are made in the USA in our California Studio of 100% Santos Rosewood. Our 0.9mm picks are made with 2 layers of exotic wood and 1.4mm picks are made with 3 layers of exotic wood.

Durability & Playability

Our picks are made of 100% wood so they will wear down with use. They will not last as long as a plastic pick, but we think that you will love their tone and thinness.

Our thinnest pick, the 0.9mm is flexible and functionally similar to a Fender Medium. As a result these picks will wear out much faster than our thicker 1.4mm picks. These picks are made of two layers of wood that are crosshatched for strength. They are the most fragile of all of our picks. These picks are really made for users who desire flex in their wood pick.  If you are a hard strummer the 0.9mm picks are probably not for you.

Our thicker 1.4mm picks will develop a beveled edge as you play with them and adapt to your picking style. These picks are made of three layers of wood and are far more durable. As a result, they really don't have any flex.

UV Printed

Richly UV printed with the Flag of Wales on our standard shaped exotic wood guitar picks.

Premium Packaging

Our picks are packaged into tins inlayed with and exotic wood top and a Mother of Pearl pick.

Great product - crazy long delivery time

These picks are very interesting. They're really expensive, obviously, so are they worth it? We'' I am very affected by aesthetics and they look really nice so that's a big plus for me. And they sound as good as the best plastic picks I have found - not better, but as good. However they feel nicer to play with so i use them in preference to any of my other picks. So for me they are good value for money but they might not be for you :).

Wales Rosewood 2.0 Pick Tin

High quality as you would expect from Thalia. Also the colors on these picks are amazing and tell me where else are you going to find guitar picks with the Welsh flag on them ? Now I'm playing in style and honoring the homeland as well.

This thing practically glows!

I wanted to class up my rather austere and dark-looking Taylor 314ce (most of the appointments were black), so I got the Tennessee Tiger Rye & Hawaiian Koa Pickguard and not only did it fit where the old pick guard was perfectly, but it's just what I was looking for...classy, shiny and flashy! The colors run the spectrum from gold to red orange, and in direct light, literally look like it is glowing (yet it's not gaudy in the least). The one thing to note, it's not perfectly flat, there is some dimension to it, so at the right angle, you'll see some ripple in the reflected light. But whatever, it's cool!

Love The Rosewood Picks

I love the rosewood picks with my 64 Hummingbird. If I use them instead of standard picks on certain songs and strum or pick closer to the neck it really gives a good sound that I can only describe as a lullaby sound. Warm and round with a lot of overtones. When the pick is new it has a more percussive sound when it hits the strings. Or use them once they are worn a bit and it gives a warmer sound so plenty of options.

The picks you never knew you needed!!!!!

The tone compliments the guitar so wonderfully. 6 month old strings sound new just by using these picks over plastic, polymer, tortoise etc. Standard shape, 1.4mm 0.9mm all amazing but pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the triangle shaped picks too. My new go to, all the time. Thanks Thalia!!!
