Smooth, Subtle and Soft Slide

This slide is very cool and has a truly unique sound. Initially it seems odd that a slide should have a sound that mimics the tone of a classical nylon string guitar, but it is beautiful and becomes very expressive. It’s great for a slide part that catches the listeners ear and holds their attention.

Lightweight and effective!

Love the weight and sound of this slide. Missed giving it a full 5 stars because it is so difficult to find a slide that fits each person perfectly. Mine was a little small. Ended up boring it out on one end with a step and then forstner bit, did a bit of sanding on the inside, and now it fits perfectly. Great addition to my slide collection.

Who knew?

Never thought about a wood slide. This one is comfortable, sounds great. It’s lightweight so you can fly over the fretboard on.

Less noise more control

Easier to control the sounds a slide makes than one made of metal or glass.

Beautiful replacement pickguard for my Taylor

I have a great early 1990s Taylor 812 guitar whose original pickguard curled up around the edges not long after I bought it. I removed it, but was hoping to replace it at some point with a nice-looking wooden pickguard rather than another plastic one. The Thalia pickguard fit perfectly and really "classed up” the guitar along with the Thalia abalone inlaid truss rod cover. They make great stuff!
