Ken Goldstein

A native of Illinois, Ken learned his flat and finger picking styles at the prestigious Old Town School of Folk Music from teachers Pete Seeger and Ella Jenkins; and developed his unique take on Chicago blues, which is widely known as "Dempsey Blues", during his time performing on Maxwell Street in the city's South Side.
He has opened for legendary artists including Santana and Billy Ray Cyrus, and toured with some of the most popular musicians on the road including Ivan Neville and Leon Mobley; and recorded with legends Leland Sklar, Waddy Wachtel, Lee Thornburg, Marty Rifkin and Belmont Tench.
