Save the Honeybee Commitment
We owe much to the bees. Globally there are more honey bees than other types of bee and pollinating insects, so it is the world's most important pollinator of food crops. It is estimated that one third of the food that we consume each day relies on pollination mainly by bees, but also by other insects, birds and bats. We feel like we need to do something and we recently came across an exciting research initiative that is actively solving some of the biggest issues facing honeybees. So we want to team up with you to help fund this research!
This particular research group at Washington State University was chosen as it has already proven to make significant strides in solving many of the major health issues affecting Bees. We are big fans of Paul Stamets, and his approach of using mushrooms and mycelium to solve bee health problems with natural methods. Please join us in our partnership with Host Defense to Save the Bees!
This is a solid capo. It is absolutely beautiful and unique looking. The only problem I’ve encountered is that the capo has to be aligned perfectly or you’ll get fret buzz. If you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to do a test strum it could be problem. For example I play in a church and hate to have dead air between songs so if I try to put the capo on quickly it could buzz. However, this is a fine product and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in it.
I shelved my all my other capos. I keep near-by the couple radii inserts I need for my various guitars and it takes only seconds to change it out. Wow! Flat capos suck!!! Worth every penny
I absolutely love this capo, it works soooo well and looks amazing on my guitar!
This capo works great and is absolutely beautiful. It is a perfect match for my Blueridge 140 and it helps an important cause. I love it.
I have recently purchased 2 Thalia Capo's and love them so much I thought I would purchase one for my Son-in-Law. We play guitar together in the church and many of the hymn's we sing were written in odd chords (at least for a guitar) so a good capo is essential. I am glad to report that our Thalia capo's have never let us down. They are easy to move on the neck and grip the strings in such a way the instrument doesn't go out of tune. I highly recommend these to any serious guitarist.
To achieve a perfect fit, the Thalia Capo comes with multiple interchangable fretpads so that you can match the fretboard radius of your specific instrument. The following table lists common fretboard radii used by major manufacturer. If you do not find your specific brand and model below you can Google your guitar make/model plus the words "fretboard radius"; if that doesn't work you can use the manual method which is described here
Please Note: 12-String & 8-String Guitars should use our High Tension OctaveTouch fretpads to get the best performance. Standard Tension and High Tension Rubber fretpads are included with every capo. Our Teflon fretpads will likely not work on instruments with octave strings. size chart guide fret board
