Human Touch

Constructed by a proprietary silicone blend that exactly mimics the elasticity of the human finger and works great on 12-string, Baritone, and 6-string guitars. Comes in both standard tension and high tension (2mm thicker) configurations. Human Touch Standard Tension Fretpads, work with all 6-strings, while High Tension Fretpads are designed to handle 12-string, Mandolins, Ukuleles & thin necked guitars.   For more information on our all NEW Human Touch™ fretpads.

TEFLON SLIDING

Our Teflon Fretpad’s material attributes are the complete opposite of rubber. While rubber is soft and binding, Teflon is hard and slippery. These characteristics, produce a noticeably more vibrant tone and allow the strings to bend and slide beneath the capo, which help to keep your guitar in tune. This makes teflon act like a finger instead of a nut.  Comes in both standard tension and high tension (2mm thicker) configurations. Teflon Standard Tension Fretpads, work with all 6-strings, while High Tension Fretpads are designed to handle Mandolins, Ukuleles & thin necked guitars. * Not to be used with 12-strings or Baritone guitars.

RUBBER

Our Rubber Fretpads are harder than our OctaveTouch fretpads but are still soft enough to bind the strings to the fret, keeping them from moving beneath the capo.    This makes them act like a nut.  Traditional capos have always used rubber due to its conforming characteristics.

Partial esus

These rubber fretpads convert any 200 series Thalia Capo into a Esus Partial Capo. When the capo is installed from the treble side (bottom) of the neck, strings 2-3-4 or 1-2-3 will be fretted.  When installed from the bass side (top) of the neck, strings 3-4-5 or 4-5-6 can be fretted.  These are very useful with alternate tunings.

Not quite up to expectations

I play a Martin GPC 12A4 12 string. The Single Fretpad does not deliver a consistent performance. When it's "on" it frets the instrument perfectly and produces beautiful intonation, and when it's "off", it frets weakly enough that the high octave D and G strings buzz badly and nothing I can do stops it. I am heartily sorry to say that I get 100% better results with a competing brand which I have owned for quite some time. The Thalia is a beautiful piece, and I like everything about it but the way it "Capos". I cannot use it as a standalone accessory

Teflon and Human Touch/OctaveTouch Fretpads

It's great to be able to get different radius and material-type Fretpads, Standard and High Tension, and easily swap them on Thalia capos. The Human Touch (aka OctaveTouch) Fretpads seem to be THE BEST overall (and I do mean of ANY capos, ANY brand), and are a 'no-brainer' for my 12-Strings and wide-ranging string-gauges such as on my Baritone Guitar.

However, while still fairly fresh, the Teflon Fretpads are excellent if you do a lot of string-bending or use a 'string-pull'/"B-Bender" mechanical string-bending device. They do eventually wear and get a bit scratchy and less slippery, but if gigging or recording frequently, they're worth the cost of occasional replacement, kind of like changing strings- but much less frequently needed. I love both types and I'm glad to have 'em!

Perfect capo!

This is the best capo that I have ever used. Very well built and elegant. Easy to move up and down the neck with no need for retuning.

Great product and company!

Got a Thalia Capo as a gift and really loved it. Noticed I was getting some small buzz on certain frets which is to be expected on a guitar that has a neck with a compound radius. I reached out and they were so helpful and squaring down the proper fret pad for my guitar and made sure to get it to me right away. The pad has worked great and their customer service was outstanding!

Did not solve my issue

The capo refuses to make the first string (e) to ring true. I though the pad was worn but the new one didn’t solve the problem.
